Terms of Service

The terms for using mtool's tools and account.

1. Who provides mtool

These Terms apply to the services at mtool.io: tools you use without an account, tools that use our servers, and the mtool account.

mtool is provided by: - Arsenii Ovsianykov, a sole trader (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) registered in CEIDG, Poland's business register; - address: ul. 3 Maja 22/2c, 40-096 Katowice, Poland; - NIP: 8952252753; - EU VAT ID: PL8952252753; - email: hello@mtool.io.

You can read, save and print these Terms free of charge before you use mtool.

2. The service and what you need

mtool provides online tools. A tool runs in your browser unless its page says it uses our servers. Each tool page also says whether the tool needs an account.

The account gives you features linked to you, such as saving favourite tools. The service shows which account features are available and any limits.

When you use a tool without an account, the service starts when you start an operation. It ends when the operation finishes or you stop it.

To use mtool, you need: - an internet connection; - an up-to-date browser with JavaScript turned on; - for signing in, cookies, plus access to your email inbox or a Google account.

A tool page lists any other requirements.

Features are free of charge unless the service marks them as paid. Before you buy a paid feature, we show its price and terms. Nothing is charged without your explicit order.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create or use an account.

You sign in with a one-time link we email you, or with Google.

Before you choose a sign-in button, you can read, save or print the version of these Terms linked next to it. By choosing "Continue with Google" or "Email me a link", you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept that version.

Requesting a sign-in link doesn't create an account. For a new account, the contract starts when we confirm your email link or Google sign-in and create the account. It lasts until you or we end it under section 7.

We record the version you accepted, its language and the time of acceptance. This record is included in your account data download, and later sign-ins don't replace it.

Keep your account secure: - Protect your email and Google accounts. - Don't share sign-in links, and use only the ones from emails you asked for. - If you think someone else has access to your account, sign out on all devices and contact us.

4. Using mtool lawfully

Use mtool lawfully and respect other people's rights. Don't provide unlawful content.

You must not: - access other people's accounts without permission; - commit fraud; - get around security measures or usage limits; - disrupt the service.

You need the rights or permissions to use the material you process with a tool.

mtool's software, design and content belong to us or to their rights holders. Using mtool doesn't transfer these rights to you.

We don't acquire rights in your inputs or results. When a tool sends your content to our servers, you allow us to process it as needed to perform that operation.

5. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and use cookies and browser storage. Each tool page says where the tool processes your data.

On your account page, you can download your account data and delete your account. You can also contact us for help. We may ask you to sign in again or otherwise confirm that the account is yours.

Data kept only in your browser is separate from your account. Deleting your account doesn't clear that data or delete files you've downloaded.

6. Availability and responsibility

We provide mtool with reasonable care. Maintenance, faults or events outside our control can interrupt it. We work to restore it as soon as reasonably possible.

Tool results can contain errors. Check them before you rely on them, especially where accuracy matters.

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer, including legal remedies for digital services that don't meet the contract. We don't exclude liability for harm caused intentionally, or any liability that the law doesn't allow us to exclude.

7. Ending or restricting an account

You can end the account contract at any time. Delete your account on your account page, or ask us to do it.

Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your account and its data and signs you out on all devices, so download anything you need first. The Privacy Policy explains how backup copies expire.

We may restrict or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, or where the law requires it. - Our response is proportionate. - If a problem can be fixed, we first give you a reasonable chance to fix it, unless urgent action is needed. - We email you the reason and how to complain under section 8, unless the law prevents us. If we must act urgently, we tell you afterwards, as soon as we can.

If we decide to stop providing accounts, we give you at least 30 days' notice by email, so you can download your data. If the law or an urgent security risk makes this impossible, we tell you as soon as we can.

8. Complaints

Send complaints to hello@mtool.io, and include: - the problem; - when it happened; - what you'd like us to do; - your account email, if it helps us investigate.

Never send sign-in links.

We reply by email within 14 days of receiving your complaint. If we need more information, we ask within that time. Asking for it doesn't extend the deadline.

If consumer law treats a missed deadline as acceptance of your complaint, that rule applies. This procedure doesn't limit your statutory rights.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms: - when our services or features change; - when the law changes; - to deal with security or abuse problems.

We explain the reason and limit the change to what that reason requires.

If you have an account, we email you at least 14 days before a change takes effect. The email explains what changes, why, from when, and how to end the contract. If you don't accept the change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.

We give shorter notice only where the law or an urgent security need requires it. In that case, we tell you as soon as we can.

Where a change needs your express agreement, we ask for it first.

We publish each version with its date and keep earlier versions available at their own addresses. A new version doesn't change what you accepted before, and doesn't apply to the past.

For use without an account, a new version applies to use that starts after it takes effect.

10. Language, law and disputes

We publish these Terms in several languages. Your account contract uses the language version you accepted, and we record that language. Where Polish law requires a Polish version, we provide it; it's then the basis for interpretation where Polish law requires that.

Polish law governs these Terms. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

Disputes go to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law. These Terms don't restrict your statutory choice of court. You can also ask a consumer authority or consumer adviser for help.
