How it works

Questions
Are the teams genuinely random?
Yes. The browser uses Web Crypto and an unbiased shuffle; any participant can land in any available team. Team sizes differ by at most one.
Are participant names saved?
mtool does not save or receive names. Copy places the result on your clipboard.
Is this also a random group generator?
Yes. Teams and groups are the same split here: paste names, choose a group count or maximum group size, and generate a random assignment. For must-stay-together or must-stay-apart rules, use the Conditional Group Generator instead.
