Morse Code Translator

Translate text to Morse code or decode symbols, audio and taps in your browser — free, with no sign-up, and your recordings never leave your device. Type text or Morse symbols, record a tone, or tap a rhythm; then play or save the sound.

Choose the alphabet used in the signal. Page language and code alphabet are independent.

Spaces separate letters; / separates words.

Text and recordings stay on this device. Only action and outcome codes are counted; the content is never sent.

Questions

Can this decode Morse code from audio?

Yes. Choose an audio file or record through your microphone. The detector looks for a steady keyed tone; speech, music and heavily distorted signals may need manual correction of the dots and dashes it finds.

Can I type in every writing system?

The selected code table decides which characters can be sent. International Morse defines Latin letters, digits and a small set of punctuation. Russian, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai and Japanese Wabun tables are separate choices. For scripts without a listed table, choose International Morse and enter a Latin transliteration; the tool cannot restore the original spelling.
